Antoinette “Ann” Fisher, 75, Jasper

Antoinette “Ann” Fisher, 75, Jasper, passed away at 3:20 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

Ann was born in Jasper on November 20, 1940, to VeLoice and Cecilia (Dick) Fisher.

She was an elementary school teacher in Jasper Consolidated Schools for over 40 years, and was recognized numerous times for her contributions to elementary education. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her dogs.

She is survived by her niece, Theresa Thompson and husband Larry of Grand Blanc, Mich.; caregiver, Jean Marcum and husband Gene of Stendal; cousins.

Preceding her in death was one sister, Patricia Cornett.

Funeral services for Ann Fisher will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2016, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Jasper, IN.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service time at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or the Dubois County Humane Society.
