Annual Tri Kappa Sorority garage sale this weekend

The 26th annual Tri Kappa Sorority garage sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday, September 7, at the Jasper Middle School.

More than 50 families provided items for the fundraising event. Items found in this huge sale include pieces you would find at designer boutiques, sporting goods stores, clothing for the entire family, holiday items, home décor, furniture, brand new toys (limit of three), gently used toys, jewelry, purses, shoes and accessories.

In addition, gift certificates from local businesses will be available to purchase at discounted prices.

The bakery has also been expanded and will be stocked with homemade items.

Use the gym entrance at back of the school.

All proceeds from the sale will benefit local charities and organizations. Some of the recipients of the funds raised through the annual garage sale include Clothe the Children, transportation for the Fifth Street After School Program, scholarships (local chapter as well as state scholarships), Girls State, Jasper Community Arts Commission, Memorial Hospital Foundations, Riley Hospital Cheer Guild and Girls on the Run.
