Anna Mae Padgett, 92

Anna Mae Padgett, 92, of Ireland, Indiana, passed away at 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper, Indiana.
Anna Mae was born on August 3, 1922 in Jasper, Indiana to Othmar and Marie (Dupps) Bockelman. She married Doyle Padgett on April 23, 1945 in Tampa, Florida. He preceded her in death on July 9, 2003.
Anna Mae was a 1940 graduate of Jasper High School. Anna Mae worked at Leed’s Selling Tools in Ireland, Indiana for over 25 years. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing and needlepoint.
She is survived by two sons, Doug Padgett, and his wife Kathy, of Newburgh and Tom Padgett, and his wife Linda, of Ireland; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Lee Kress, and her husband Otto and Rose Marie Killian, both of Jasper.
Preceding her in death besides her husband is one sister Betty Fromme.
Funeral services for Anna Mae Padgett will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Jasper with burial to follow in Otwell Cemetery in Otwell, Indiana. Pastor Larry Van Camp will officiate.
Friends may call from 3:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, and one hour before services at the church.
