Anna M. Jacob, 81, Birdseye

Anna M. Jacob, 81, of Birdseye, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Anna was born on May 3, 1945, in St. Henry to Raymond and Rose (Oeding) Kerstiens.

She married Hillary Jacob on September 14, 1963, in St. Meinrad.

Anna is survived by her husband, Hilary; three sons, Tony (Myrna) Jacob of Schnellville, Steve (Brook) Jacob of Haysville and Shawn (Kari) Jacob of Birdseye; three daughters, Connie (Scott) Wendholt of Ferdinand, Kim (Bernie) Beckman of Earlham, IA and Beth (Donnie) Lueken of Celestine; a sister, Virlee Howe of Birdseye and a brother, Bill (Cathy) Kerstiens of Santa Claus; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Bernice May, Helen Miley and Marilyn Mullis and one brother, Dennis Kerstiens.

Anna was a member of Sacred Heart Parish. She enjoyed quilting and cooking. Anna adored her grandchildren and loved to spend time with them.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
