Anna Lorene Lagenour, 97, Hillham

Anna Lorene Lagenour, 97, of Hillham, Ind., entered into eternal rest on August 15, 2021, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, Indiana.

She was born in Vincennes on February 2, 1924, to George E. and Maggie L. (Wininger) Howerton.

Lorene married Albert Lagenour on January 18, 1941, and he preceded her in death on February 27, 2010.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, George Howerton; four sisters, Mary Lois Howerton, Dorothy Hagen, Catherine Lagenour, and Violet Baer; one grandchild, Norman Lagenour; and one son-in-law, Randy Keele.

Lorene was a member of the Hillham Church of Christ in Christian Union and the French Lick Senior Citizens.

She enjoyed painting, crocheting, quilting and spending time with friends and family.

Lorene is survived by two sons, Lowell Albert Lagenour (Doris) Kolene, Ind. and William L. Lagenour (Bonny) of Hillham; one daughter, Lorna Jean Keele of Phoenix, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Mike Grable on Monday, August 23, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Emmons Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Per the request of the family, masks will be mandatory for all who attend the visitation or funeral service due to the health concerns of family members. We also ask all who attend to practice proper social distancing.
