Anna J. Uppencamp, 76
Anna J. Uppencamp, of Dale, Indiana, formerly of Huntingburg, died at 3:48 p.m., Sunday, September 25, 2011 in the emergency room of Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born April 25, 1935 in Huntingburg to Avolt and Ethel (Kendall) Ermert. She was a homemaker and a Certified Nursing Assistant. Anna was preceded in death by: her husband, Henry Uppencamp, who died March 10, 1999; her parents, Avolt Ermert and Ethel Hall; one daughter, Joyce Uppencamp; one son, Phillip Uppencamp; two sisters, Irene Heowener and Minnie Beadles; and one brother, William Ermert.
She is survived by,

- Henry B. Uppencamp – Ferdinand, IN,

- Wanda Denton – Huntingburg, IN,

- Terry Hall – Jasper, IN,
by several nieces and nephews, (37) grandchildren, and (38) great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Anna J. Uppencamp will be held at 10:00 a.m., Eastern Daylight Time, on Wednesday, September 28th at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Pastor Paul Newland will officiate the funeral service.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday.
