Anita Joyce (Partenheimer) Dixon, 71
Anita Joyce (Partenheimer) Dixon, age 71, of Carmel, formerly of Birdseye, Indiana, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville, Indiana.
She was born December 16, 1940 in Birdseye, Indiana to Joe and Nora (Smith) Partenheimer. After graduating from Birdseye High School in 1958, Anita was employed as an Administrative Assistant at the Indiana Civil Defense Agency in Indianapolis. After her marriage to Ray Dixon, she went to work as the Executive Secretary to the President of the National Homes Corporation in Lafayette. When their son Mark was born, she left her professional career to take care of her growing family.
Besides being an outstanding homemaker, Anita was an accomplished self-taught landscape artist, especially of mountain scenes. She will be lovingly remembered for her love of family and church. She was preceded in death by: her parents; one sister, Janet Lutes; and one son, Mark Gregory Dixon.

Memorial Arrangements in Indianapolis:
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., (E.S.T.), on Friday, December 14, 2012 at the Speedway Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Funeral & Visitation Arrangements in Huntingburg:
A funeral service for Anita Dixon will be held at 12:00 noon (E.S.T.), on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Birdseye Cemetery in Birdseye. Reverend Mona Cluff will officiate the services.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg two hours prior to the funeral on Saturday, from 10 a.m. until noon.
