Angella M. “Peggy” Hilgeman, 87

Angella M. “Peggy” Hilgeman, age 87, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 7:45 a.m., Friday, May 11, 2012 at her residence in Huntingburg.

She was born September 12, 1924 in Coal City, Illinois to William John and Evelyn Mary (Lamie) McLean. She was united in marriage to Carl Hilgeman on September 23, 1950 in Penndel, Pennsylvania. Peggy worked at the former St. Joseph’s Hospital in Huntingburg where she was a cook. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Carl Hilgeman who died April 6, 1999; one sister, Audrey Fell; and one brother who died in infancy, William John McLean.

She is survived by:

One daughter, Karen L. Hilgeman – Huntingburg, IN

A graveside committal service will be held for Angella M. “Peggy” Hilgeman at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Mayo Cemetery near Duff. Friends are invited to attend the graveside service. Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the arrangements. There will be no services at church or visitation at the funeral home.
