Angeline Rose Schwoeppe, 78

Angeline Rose Schwoeppe, 78 of St. Henry passed away Friday January 25th at her home.

She was born March 24, 1934 in Ireland to Carl and Marie (Blemel) Durcholz. Angeline married Floyd J. Schwoeppe on July 26, 1952 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland. He passed away on April 24, 2002.

Angeline was a lifelong homemaker who enjoyed playing cards, quilting, gardening and cooking. She was a member of St. Henry Parish, Christian Mothers, Jasper Moose Lodge, and the Woodmen of the World.

Angeline is survived by two sons, Michael J. Schwoeppe and David J. (Sue) Schwoeppe both of St. Henry, two brothers; Charles and Edward Durcholz both of Jasper, four sisters; Rita Dall and Jo Ann Lechner both of Jasper, Dorothy “Dottie” Mack of Indianapolis and Ruth Small of Ireland. Six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. Angeline was preceded in death by her husband Floyd, sisters Mary Lou Lechner and Rosalee Cola and by brothers Richard and Cletus Durcholz.

Visitation will be Tuesday January 29th from 2-8:00 PM EST and Wednesday from 7-9:30 AM EST at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Henry Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
