Andrew A. Brinkman, 64

Andrew A. Brinkman, 64, of Ferdinand, died Saturday April 6, 2013 at his daughter’s home in Huntingburg.

He was born February 25, 1949 in Ferdinand to Joseph and Augusta (Hackman) Brinkman. He married Marilyn Clery on June 6,1971 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Jasper.

Andrew was the Owner/Operator of Duckville Trucking. He was a lifelong member of St. Ferdinand Parish. He served in the Indiana National Guard. His hobbies were fishing, farming, grilling, cooking and making soup with his friends.

He enjoyed helping with the Duckville Float and their many gatherings. He also enjoyed antique tractors.

Six grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Marie Wagner & a brother, Cletus Brinkman.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m. at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church with burial of cremains at a later date.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 7:00 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Becher Funeral Home, Ferdinand.
