Anderson Woods Hoedown supports new experiences for individuals with special needs
Anderson Woods will host its second annual Hoedown on Saturday, November 16 from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Calumet in Jasper.
The event raises funding to support Anderson Woods’ mission to provide safe and dignified camping opportunities for individuals with special needs. Founded in 1978, the camp on the Anderson River started with a few tents and campers and has now grown to host hundreds each summer in four cabins, providing beautiful experiences for its campers and counselors.
You can learn more about the organization at this link, http://www.andersonwoods.org/.
The event features live music from the Hagedorn Family Band, Kyle Lueken, and Debbie Schuetter, as well as a meal catered by Oink Smokehouse & Southern Kitchen.
Tickets are $50 per person, and you can text 812-639-1079 or visit the Visitor Center for tickets.
