American Legion hosting Oratorical High School Scholarship contest Jan. 6

Jasper American Legion Post 147 will be hosting the 8th district American Legion Oratorical High School Scholarship contest January 6 , 2012 at 1:00 p.m at the post located at 1220 Newton Street.
There will only be at the most four contestants through out the District.
“We at Post 147 are proud to host this contest again; this will be 4 years in a row,” said Monty Buchanan. “We invite the public and all members of the Legion family from the surrounding area to come out and show their support for these young men and women.”
