American Cancer Society hosting Bark for Life at Bohnert Park

The American Cancer Society is sponsoring ‘Bark For Life’ on Saturday, Oct. 26, at Bohnert Park, Jasper.

Check-in is from 8:30 to 9 a.m. Walking is from 9 to 11 a.m.

For those who don’t have a dog, the DCHS might have a few dogs that would love to be walked.

The DCHS also will be offering microchipping for $15.

The preregistration fee is $15, and it includes a bandana and goodie bag. The registration fee on the day of the event is $20; bandana and goodie bag will be given while supplies last.

Dogs must be at least six months old, be current on all shots and be on a leash. Owners must clean up after their dog.

Prizes will be given for best dressed and best trick. Attendance prizes also will be given.

All profits will go toward the American Cancer Society.
