Ambrosia M. Drach, age 88, of St. Anthony passed away at 4:45 a.m., Friday (February 24, 2012) at home.

Ambrosia was born on May 8, 1923 in St. Anthony to Leo and Caroline (Schwinghammer) Lubbers. She married Frank J. Drach in St. Anthony on November 9, 1943. He passed away on January 10, 2003.

Ambrosia was a homemaker and a member of the St. Anthony Christian Mothers, the St. Anthony Community and Conservation Club, and AARP.

Her hobbies include reading, fishing, sewing, and spending time with her family

Preceding Ambrosia in death besides her husband is one grandson, Christopher Voegerl, three brothers, Cletus “Skip”, John “Jay”, and Roman Lubbers, and two sisters, Dolores Haas and Viola Bieker.

Funeral services for Ambrosia M. Drach will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday (February 27, 2012) at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday (February 26, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church Cemetery Fund, Vista Care Hospice, or to a favorite charity.
