Amanda A. Angerer, 95, Dubois

Amanda A. Angerer, 95, Dubois, passed away at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016, in the Timbers of Jasper Health Care.

Amanda was born at Haysville on March 11, 1921 to Henry and Carrie (Frank) Neukam. She married Walter J. Angerer on May 16, 1940 in Emanuel Hill Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on March 31, 1988.

She was a homemaker and member of Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville. She enjoyed working her crossword puzzles and like flowers and her puppy.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda White and husband Ed of Jasper; son, Dennis Angerer of Dubois; two grandchildren, Nathan and Craig White; five great-grandchildren, Olivia, Sydney, McKenzie, Maddie and Evan.

Preceding her in death besides her husband is a son, Kenneth Angerer; daughter, Melba Ziegler; four sisters, Annetta Sendelweck, Marie Barnes, Amelia Neukam Anna Mae Neukam; and one brother, Raymond Neukam.

Funeral services for Amanda Angerer will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2016, in Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville, Indiana with burial to follow in Community Cemetery.

Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. Sunday until the 2:00 p.m. service time at Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville.
