Alyssa M. Wagner, 22

Alyssa M. Wagner, 22, of Ireland passed away at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, March 8 ,2015, in Hopkins County, Ky., due to injuries received in an automobile accident.

Alyssa was born on October 29, 1992 in Huntingburg, Indiana to Randy “Red” and Joan (Matthews) Wagner.

She was a college senior majoring in nursing at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville and was set to graduate in May.

She was a 2011 Graduate of Jasper High School.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland.

She enjoyed scrapbooking, babysitting, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her mother, Joan Wagner of Ireland; brother, Benjamin Wagner and girlfriend Christina Ziegler of Ireland; grandmother, Georgine Wagner of Ireland; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceding her in death was her father, Randy “Red” Wagner, and one brother, Andrew R. Wagner. Also her paternal grandfather Robert Wagner and her maternal grandparents Charles and Viola Matthews.

Funeral services for Alyssa M. Wagner will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2015, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, IN, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 1:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
