Allegra R. “Peggy” (Russell) Farwick, age 103, formerly of Evansville and then later Huntingburg, passed away at 9:10 a.m., Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Amber Manor Care Center in Petersburg.

She was born November 21, 1908 near Stendal in Pike County, Indiana to Charles and Mary (Collins) Russell. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Gilbert James Farwick, who passed away on June 1, 1980; six brothers – Minuard, Vanry, Waldemar, Byron, Pershing “Bert”, and Denzel Russell; and one sister, Oneva Hardin.

She is survived by:

Four Nieces and Three Nephews;

plus several great nieces and nephews & great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Allegra “Peggy” Farwick will be held at 1:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Evansville.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., on Monday, the day of the funeral.
