Allan P. Friedman, 78, Jasper

Allan P. Friedman, 78, of Jasper, passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

Allan was born in Jasper on November 29, 1941, to Othmar and Annetta (Basch) Friedman. 

He was a Jasper High School graduate. Allan was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He retired from Jasper Cabinet Company where he had been a repairman and finisher for 34 years. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #673. Allan enjoyed fishing and spending time at the lake. 

He is survived by one sister, Karen (John) Schulz of Lafayette; one niece, Susan (Chris) Finney of Columbus; one nephew, Mike Schulz of Indianapolis; and one great-niece and one great-nephew, Claire and Cole Finney.

A graveside service for Allan P. Friedman will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2020, at the Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper, Indiana. Fr. Donald Ackerman will officiate. The V.F.W. Post #673 will conduct military graveside rites.
