Alive After 5! celebrates back to school this Friday

The Heart of Jasper is inviting the community to celebrate the start of a new school year during Alive After 5! this Friday, August 7.

Alive After 5! is a monthly event bringing music, local vendors, shopping, and community connection to the Square in Downtown Jasper. Held on the first Friday from May through December, the event takes place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., offering the perfect way to kick off your weekend while supporting local businesses. During Alive After 5!, merchants on the Square will remain open later, giving the community extra time to explore downtown shops, restaurants, and boutiques.

The August 7th event will give families, students, and community members a fun way to enjoy downtown before the new school year begins. The evening will feature free live music from Nikita & Crandall, local vendors, shopping, dining, and a lively atmosphere that highlights the best of Jasper’s downtown community.

Alive After 5! is organized by the Heart of Jasper as part of its mission to promote a vibrant, welcoming downtown and support local businesses. Community members, families, and visitors are encouraged to come downtown, enjoy live entertainment, discover local vendors, and experience everything the Square has to offer.
