Albert T. Carrico, 83

Albert T. Carrico, age 83, of Jasper, Indiana passed away at 8:17 a.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2013, at the Timbers of Jasper.

Albert was born on August 10, 1930 in Loogootee, Indiana to Albert and Clara (Lannan) Carrico. He married Jo Ellen Blines on January 28, 1956 at St. Simon’s Catholic Church in Washington, Indiana.

Albert was a farmer and retired from Jasper Engines and Transmissions, where he had worked for many years.

He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church in Whitfield, Indiana.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

he is survived by his wife, Jo Ellen Carrico, of Jasper; one daughter, Anna Carrico, of Jasper; one sister, Pearl Bridgewater, and her husband Teddy, of Loogootee.

Preceding him in death are two daughters, Mary Elizabeth and Lisa Louise Carrico; four sisters, Marie Wildman, Mary Spears-Stoll, Gleta Sheetz, Agnes Christmas; and three brothers, John and Emil Carrico and Daniel Carrico, who died in infancy.

Funeral services for Albert T. Carrico will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2013, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. Pastor James Harris will officiate.

Friends may call from 1:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, 2013, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
