Albert Hagedorn, 70, Dale

Albert Hagedorn, 70, of Dale, passed away Wednesday, February 28, at home.

Albert was born March 16, 1947, to Leo and Eulalia (Fischer) Hagedorn.

Albert was a retired teacher of North Spencer School Corporation after 33 years of service and a self-employed farmer. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. He was also a member of the American Gelbvich and Angus Associations.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, loved attending his grandkids activities and enjoyed watching country music shows at Corydon.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Donna (Schum) Hagedorn; three sons, Phil (JoAnn), Jason (Martha) and Aaron (Sheila); seven grandkids, Cody, Dylan, Madison, Jacob and Kendra Hagedorn, Lacey (Casey) VanWinkle and Jayme Lindauer; five siblings, Margie (Gilbert) Kleaving, Diane (Steve) Goffinet, Larry Hagedorn, Betty (Rick) Rosbottom and Mark (Darla) Hagedorn.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Monday, March 5, 2018, from 2 to 7 p.m. CST at St. Francis of Assisi Parish-St. Joseph Church in Dale.

A Mass of Christian burial is planned for Tuesday, March 6, at 10 a.m. CST at the St. Joseph Church.
