ALASI announces Latino Cultural Fest canceled

ALASI (Asociación Latinoamericana del Sur de Indiana or the Association of Latin Americans in Southern Indiana) and the Latino Culture Fest Committee announced the 2020 festival has been canceled.

“We feel that it is the best decision based on the uncertainty we are currently facing in our community and in the world,” the groups stated in a press release on Facebook.

They added that they are working on a new project to take the place of this year’s festival. They will release information on that event soon.

The groups also thanked their sponsors and stated they were looking forward to a great 2021 festival.
