Alan G. Hopf, 18

Alan G. Hopf, age 18, of Huntingburg passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2013, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Huntingburg, Indiana.

He was born March 23, 1995 in Jasper Memorial Hospital, to Gregory and Kristina (Fleck) Hopf.

Alan was a graduate of Jasper High School Class of 2013.

He worked part-time for Werner’s Sawmill in Ireland and is a member of Pipe-Fitters Union in Evansville, Indiana.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping also working on cars and trucks and truck and tractor pulls.

He is survived by his mother, Kristina Hopf; two sisters, Allison Hopf,of Jasper and Alexa Hopf, of Huntingburg; two brothers, Adam Hopf and Austin Hopf, both of Huntingburg.

Preceding him in death is his father Gregory Hopf and his step-father Stanley “Stretch” who died November 27, 2013.

Funeral services for Alan Hopf will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2013, in St. Mary Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Ireland.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, December 26, 2013, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
