Advanced Sports Supply purchases Markers, Inc.

Advanced Sports Supply has agreed to purchase Markers, Inc., based in Avon Lake, Ohio.

Markers, Inc. has been in business for 40 years and is an exclusive manufacturer/distributor of athletic and golf marking equipment, other athletic supplies, and government and recreational flags.

In the purchase, Advanced Sports Supply will move all warehousing, products, and kitting operations to its Jasper location while OEM components will continue to be made with the current suppliers.

Making the purchase for this longstanding business was a necessary step in the growth of our business,” said Advanced Sports Supply President/CEO Corey Scherer in a press release. “The product lines that Markers Inc. has developed and grown over the course of 40 years will allow us to provide even more exclusive products to grow with our current customers while taking on a brand-new customer base in the golf and flag markets.”
