Adrian F. Pund, 86, of Ferdinand, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Brookside Village in Jasper.

He was born June 17, 1927 to Theodore Sr. and Marie (Lueken) Pund in Ferdinand. Adrian married Anna Mae Schaefer on September 18, 1951 in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church.

Adrian is survived by his wife Anna Mae Pund, five daughters, Maggie Stimming and husband Chuck of Indianapolis, Karen Hutto and husband Hal of Sandy Run, S.C., Dorothy Buechler and husband Mike of Ferdinand, Linda Hassfurther and husband Brian of Ferdinand, Janet Uebelhor and husband Kent of Ferdinand; three sons, David Pund and wife Sheila of Huntingburg, Virgil Pund and wife Cindy of Cary, IL, John Pund of Ferdinand; three brothers, Joe Pund of Huntingburg, Francis Pund of St. Anthony, Ted Pund Jr. of Boonville; two sisters, Mary Anne Uebelhor of Schnellville, Terri Dicus of Dale; 15 grandchildren, Brad, Ben, Evan, Collin, Abby and Jacob Pund, Megan Wehr, Kevin, Lucas, and Kelli Buechler, Rachel and Christopher Hassfurther, Austin, Olivia and Erika Uebelhor; one great grandchild, Kortlen Wehr; four step-grandchildren, Mary, Maureen, Christopher and Joe Stimming; seven step-great grandchildren, Michael, Kathryn, Paul and Elizabeth Centorcelli, Hopson, Eason and Wells Stimming. Adrian was preceded in death by; two children, Eugene and Kevin Pund; one grandchild, Elizabeth Pund; one brother, Leroy Pund.

Adrian served as President on the Saint Meinrad Fire Department Board; Vice-President and President of Bricklayers Local #52; President of Saint Joseph’s Sodality; Director of Spencer County Credit Union; Spencer County 4-H Board; 4-H Club Leader; Spencer County Extension Board; Spencer County Greener Pasture Committee; Spencer County Cattleman’s Association; Spencer County Commissioner – 3rd District; Lincoln Hills Resource, Conservation and Development Board; Lincoln Hills Development Corporation; Spencer County Youth and Community Center Board; St. Ferdinand Church Eucharistic Minister; Charter member of the Brute Society and a member of Ferdinand Historical Society.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 7-9:30 a.m. at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand.
