Addison Schneider recipient of Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship
Addison Schneider, a senior at Forest Park High School, was selected as a recipient of the Most Valuable Student Scholarship by the Elks National Foundation. The MVS Scholarship provides support and recognition to academically talented and community-minded students.

From more than 23,000 applicants at the start of the process in August, to the final 500 MVS scholars, the scholarship is awarded to the top 2 percent of students in the country on the basis of academics, leadership and service.
Schneider serves as president of the senior class, Student Council President, National Honor Society President, Board member of Rangers for Christ and is active in Community Impact, Athletic Council, Kimball Electronics Environmental Council, Mentors for Youth, Christ the King Youth Group and 4-H. She is captain of the dance and golf teams and a member of the tennis team. She is also Valedictorian of the Class of 2026.
She will attend Indiana State University in the fall, where she will pursue a degree in Nursing to become a Nurse Practitioner. She is the daughter of Brett and Becky Schneider of Ferdinand.
