Actors Community Theatre Unveils 2025-2026 Performance Season

Actors Community Theatre (ACT) unveiled the 2025-2026 Performance Season, which includes homages to the great successes of the past year, while offering new flavors of stories for all to enjoy.

Coming to a theatre near you:

Dracula: The Radio Play

Adapted by Philip Grecian. Based on the novel by Bram Stoker.

This dramatic retelling of Dracula blends classic radio storytelling with minimal set design. Set in 1888, Jonathan Harker travels to Transylvania to assist a mysterious Count Dracula with a real estate purchase, only to discover unsettling secrets within the castle. After a harrowing escape, strange events begin to unfold back in England, where Harker’s fiancée, Mina and her friend Lucy become entangled in a growing web of fear. Lucy’s unexplained illness draws the concern of her fiancé, Dr. Jack Seward, and the eccentric Professor Van Helsing, who suspects a sinister, supernatural force is at work. Their quest for answers leads them on a perilous journey into the heart of an ancient evil.

Dracula: The Radio Play will take place at the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center, Black Box Theatre, on October 9th-11th, 2025.

This Murder Was Staged: Dinner Theatre Experience

by Patrick Greene and Jason Pizzarello

It’s opening night of a brand-new mystery play, but just as the killer is about to be revealed, the body of the play’s director falls on stage instead. In that moment, the theater becomes an active crime scene, and everyone from cast to crew to even the audience becomes a suspect. But how is the intrepid detective supposed to find the killer when everyone and their mother (literally) has a motive to want the demanding director gone? This Murder Was Staged is a fast-paced, backstabbing, backstage comedy from two of the writers of The Alibis and Rogues’ Gallery. This Murder Was Staged: Dinner Theatre Experience will fill the stage of the Jasper Arts Center, on March 26th-29th, 2026.

And finally, a musical experience you “totally” don’t want to miss:

Legally Blonde: the Musical

Music and Lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin, Book by Heather Hach

Based on the novel and the hit-movie of the same name, Legally Blonde: the Musical chronicles the journey of the famously perky Elle Woods, a fashion-savvy, UCLA sorority girl who finds her life turned upside down when she is dumped by her boyfriend Warner. In an effort to prove to Warner that she is more than just some blonde sorority girl, she follows him to Harvard Law, where she struggles to fit in and do well. Ultimately, she defies expectations and manages to stay true to her delightfully pink personality. Legally Blonde: The Musical makes waves at the Jasper Arts Center on July 23rd-July 26th, 2026.
