Actors Community Theatre to present ‘The Sound of Music’

Actors Community Theatre is excited to announce that tickets are now available for the 2024 Summer production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music.

Directed and Choreographed by Kayla Kelley, of Owensboro, KY, this classic musical promises to entertain all ages with its inspirational story, based on the post-World-War II memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, which follows a cheerful postulant who serves as governess to the seven children of Captain von Trapp, bringing music and joy to the household.

Featuring new and familiar actors at the Jasper Arts Center, including Rebecca Volk, Liz Book, Shelby Gidley, Jaylin McEwan, Vanessa Hickman, Chris Dixon, Linsey England, Juan Lloveras, Eve Gatwood, Matthew Schlachter, Hannah Bartley, Aunalee Weyer, Liliana Davis, David Griffith, Lucy Dixon, Colin McGowan, Kate Letterman Conway, Steven Dunn, Seth Neukam, Alec Lechner, Sylvia Birchler, Grace Bartley, Shannon Knight, Jessica Warden, Bridgette Bartley, Nyx Brooks, and Kirsten Neukam.

The Sound of Music will grace the stage of the Jasper Arts Center, located at 951 College Avenue, Jasper IN, on the following dates:

Thursday, July 25th at 7:00 PM EST
Friday, July 26th at 7:00 PM EST
Saturday, July 27th at 7:00 PM EST
Sunday, July 28th at 2:00 PM EST

Doors open 30 minutes prior to the listed showtimes. General Admission tickets are available to ages four and above, for $12 each. Tickets are available online, and can be purchased by visiting our website: https://www.actorscommunitytheatre.com/tickets

Tickets will be sold at the door, only if extra are available at that time. All patrons are required to have a ticket to attend. The run time for this show is approximately 3 hours, with intermission.
