Actor’s Community Theatre to present ‘Rumors’

JASPER, IN — Dubois County’s non-for-profit community theatre group, Actor’s Community Theatre (ACT), will once again be offering the well-adored dinner theatre experience with their upcoming production of Neil Simon’s “Rumors”, taking place at the Jasper Arts Center on April 3rd-5th, 2025.

Auditions for “Rumors” were held in late January, and local talent was chosen to fill the small cast. Cast members appearing in this upcoming dinner theatre include Angie Schitter, Steven Dunn, Shelby Gidley, Ty Hunter, Brian Schwenk, Kirsten Neukam, Ethan Fritch, Ashley Whitsitt, Seth Neukam, and Hayley Hunter.

This ACT production of “Rumors” is being Directed by local talent, Bryce Conway, who is an avid Neil Simon devotee.

Tickets for ACT’s production of “Rumors” are now available online, at http://www.actorscommunitytheatre.com/tickets, with only 300 seats available for the three-night run. This show is rated for those ages 18 and above, and those under the required age will not be permitted into the event.

A catered meal, prepared by Schnitzelbank Catering, is included in the ticket cost, and will be served before the performance. Light refreshments, deserts, and alcoholic beverages will also be available. Tickets sales will close on Tuesday, March 25th at midnight, to accommodate the catering count. This performance is constructed with proximity in mind, as patrons will be seated on stage alongside the performers.

Ticket-holders are asked to enter the stage door entrance of the Jasper Arts Center.

Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. EST, the meal will be served at 6:30 p.m. EST, and the performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. EST.
