Actors Community Theatre Endowment now accepting donations

Actors Community Theatre (ACT) is proud to announce the newly created “Actors Community Theatre Endowment”, created in partnership with the Dubois County Community Foundation.

The Actors Community Theatre Endowment will provide ongoing financial support for local productions, educational opportunities, youth programming, and community engagement initiatives within ACT. Established in 1947, ACT has been the creative outlet for many talented individuals within the Southern Indiana theatre community. The ACT Board of Directors is extremely confident in establishing this endowment, as this will allow the community to not only invest in the future of ACT as a non-profit organization, but to ensure the future of theatre and performing arts in Dubois County remains bright and expansive.

Established in partnership with the Dubois County Community Foundation, the fund provides a stable, long-term resource for Actors Community Theatre, ensuring that financial support is available regardless of economic fluctuations or unforeseen challenges. Donors can opt to make a one-time donation or a recurring donation, depending on their preferences, thanks to the Dubois County Community Foundation’s secure donation portal.

Community members, businesses, and arts advocates are invited to contribute to the Actors Community Theatre Endowment at any time to help secure the future of our local theatre programs.

As ACT looks toward the future, the community is invited to attend our upcoming summer production of “Mary Poppins the Musical”, taking place July 24–27, 2025, at the Jasper Arts Center.

Audiences can expect a magical performance filled with unforgettable music, high-flying adventure, and the heartwarming spirit that defines this classical theatre masterpiece.
