A Second Person Dies from Injuries Sustained in Crash

Updates from yesterday’s crash near Dale.

The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office has confirmed that this morning at 5:35 a.m. Junior R. Small, 74 of Huntingburg succumbed to the injuries he sustained in the two vehicle crash yesterday.

Small was the driver of the 1999 Chevrolet pick-up that failed to yield the right of way to a 2007 International semi-tractor at SR 62 and US 231.

The passenger in Small’s truck, Shelly Kline, 29, Huntingburg was pronounced dead at the scene by the Spencer County Coroner’s Office.
