A new hotel for Ferdinand? Super 8!

A new, 60-room hotel will open at 123 Scenic Court this summer. Earthwork is near completion and building construction will begin in the near future.

Universal Design Associates designed the new Super 8 for I.P.D. Hospitality, Inc., out of Suwanee, GA, and will oversee its construction.

The new three story, 36,000 square-foot Super 8 will feature king bedrooms, double queen bedrooms and five king bed suites.

Along with ten guest rooms (one of which is a suite), the main level will feature a 12 by 30-foot game room, 13 by 20-foot exercise room, 32 by 46-foot indoor swimming pool room, 16 by 30-foot meeting room (32-person capacity) and a 1,000 square-foot breakfast/ lobby/ check-in area, as well as a guest laundry room and staff areas.

The remaining guest rooms will be located on the second and third floors, as well as ice/vending areas. The upper floors will have elevator access.

The attractive exterior will consist of split faced block, brick and E.I.F.S. (exterior insulation finish system). The parking area will offer 66 spaces.
