Eight Dubois County schools achieved 4-star status on ISTEP tests

The Indiana Department of Education announced the schools designated as four-star schools on Tuesday.

In order to achieve this designation, a school must be in the top 25th percentile of schools in three ISTEP-based categories. A total of 311 schools received the award throughout the state.

Eight Dubois County Schools were designated:

  • Pine Ridge Elementary
  • Cedar Crest Elementary
  • Ferdinand Elementary
  • Celestine Elementary
  • Northeast Dubois High School
  • Ireland Elementary
  • Jasper High School
  • Precious Blood School

In Spencer County

  • Chrisney Elementary
  • David Turnham Educational Center
  • Heritage Hills High School
  • Lincoln Trail Elementary
  • Luce Elementary School
  • South Spencer High School

In Pike County:

  • Otwell Elementary
