Sherron Sue Oster, 63, Huntingburg

Sherron Sue Oster, 63, of Huntingburg, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015, at her home.

She was born September 26, 1952, in Jackson, Mississippi to Jack and Bobbie (Loyd) Boutwell.

She was a graduate of the Jasper High School Class of 1971 and was united in marriage to Emil R. Oster on July 31, 1971, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg.

Sherron was a homemaker and member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg.  She enjoyed painting, drawing and flower gardening.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Emil R. Oster of Huntingburg; one son and one daughter-in-law, Emil A. “Tony” (Janalyn) Oster of Huntingburg; three daughters and one son-in-law, Michelle S. (Jason) Choate of Dubois, Christina F. Oster of Huntingburg and Kimberly A. Oster of Huntingburg; her parents, Jack and Bobbie Boutwell of Jasper; one brother, Danny Boutwell of Jasper; five grandchildren, Dakota Choate, Blake Oster, Dominique Orange, Dylan Oster and Shealynn Orange.

A funeral Mass for Sherron Sue Oster will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.S.T., on Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. EST on Monday.

A parish rosary prayer service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday afternoon at the funeral home.
