Allen Keith Conrad, 80

Allen Keith Conrad, 80, of Crystal, entered into eternal rest on November 18, 2015, at St. Charles Health Campus, Jasper, Indiana.

He was born in French Lick, Indiana on September 25, 1935 to Lemuel and Margaret (Elkins) Conrad. He married Rena Lee Shepard on February 18, 1955.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother Warren Conrad.

Allen graduated from French Lick High School, was an Army veteran and retired from Crane Naval Weapons Depot. He was a member of the Christian Church of Jasper, Indiana.

He is survived by his wife Rena Lee (Shepard) Conrad Crystal; one son, Kevin Conrad and his wife Sheila of Jasper; daughter, Kathy Plimpton and her husband Stephen of French Lick; two sisters, Greta Beaty of French Lick and Sue Brothers of Bloomington; four grandchildren.

A funeral ceremony will be conducted by Darrel Land on Sunday, November 22, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Brosmer-Kemple Chapel. Interment will follow in the Crystal Cemetery, Crystal.

Friends may call Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
