55 new Covid-19 cases reported in Dubois County

Wednesday, the Indiana State Department of Health reported 55 new Covid-19 cases in Dubois County.

A total of 4,951 cases have been recorded in the county since the pandemic began; 62 Dubois County residents have died. A total of 16,264 county residents have been tested.

Additionally, the Indiana Department of Health announced that 6,214 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 539,229 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.

A total of 8,371 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 80 from the previous day. Another 372 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by the state and occurred over multiple days.

Testing is available through Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center with a referral.
