5-time CMA winner Lee Ann Womack performs at Lincoln Amphitheatre next week

Award-winning country singer-songwriter Lee Ann Womack (five Academy of Country Music Awards, six Country Music Association Awards, one Grammy award), will perform at the Lincoln Amphitheatre on Saturday, June 3.

Womack’s 2000 single, “I Hope You Dance”, was a major crossover music hit, reaching number 1 on the Billboard Country Chart and the top 15 on the Billboard Hot 100. She emerged as a contemporary country artist in 1997, her material resembled that of Dolly Parton and Tammy Wynette. As of 2017, Womack has released a total of six studio albums and two compilations.  Four of her studio albums have received a “gold” certification or higher by the RIAA.  She has sold more than 6 million albums worldwide.

Regional artist Hayley Payne will serve as the opening act for the evening. Doors are at 5 p.m. with the performance beginning at 6:30 p.m. All times are CENTRAL.
