4th annual Soup-port the Arts this Sunday, April 19

Jasper Arts is hosting the 4th annual SOUP-port The Arts event in the Atrium at the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from noon to 2 p.m.
Several professional ceramic artists throughout the surrounding area, along with artists of all ages, have been volunteering their time and talents over the last few months, prepping for the upcoming public community fundraising event.
Volunteers have created and glazed over 300 handmade ceramic bowls.
As for the soup to fill up the beautiful hand-made creations, the following local restaurants have donated their delicious soups to serve for the event; Oink Inc. Smokehouse, Carodella’s Catering, Sultan’s Run, Emerald Greens, Café Pina, Sander Catering, and Jasper Mayor Craig’s Mock Turtle Soup.
Dubois County PRIDE will ease your sweet tooth by providing and hosting a bake sale during the event.
In addition to the many bowls created, artist Kelly Eckerle created a handmade ceramic charcuterie platter to be auctioned off to the highest bidder at the event in a Silent Auction. The event is open house, family-friendly and open to all ages. Tickets are $25 and will include a handmade ceramic bowl, soup, bread and a drink.
