206 Covid-19 cases in county; 95 reported recoveries

Wednesday, the Dubois County Health Department confirmed two new cases of COVID-19, bringing the countywide total to 206 cases.

They also reported 95 of the 206 cases have recovered. Three Dubois County residents have died. A total of 1,457 Dubois County residents have been tested.

According to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s COVID-19 Dashboard, the Jasper hospital has submitted 1,045 tests. Of those, 901 were negative and 18 are pending.

Besides Memorial Hospital, a contractor with the state has a testing site at the Jasper Armory.

Between the two sites, the county is reporting 1,457 tests have been submitted.

Also on Wednesday, the Indiana State Department of Health reported 511 new cases, bringing the statewide total to 35,712. A total of 2,032 Hoosiers have died from the virus. An additional 175 probable deaths have been reported.
