2025 4-H Fair Miss and Teen Miss Contestants

Here are the contestants for this year’s Miss and Teen Miss Dubois County 4-H Fair Queen contest to be held at the Jasper High School Auditorium on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at 3 p.m.
The 2025 Dubois County 4-H Fair runs from July 14 through 19.

Miss Contestants

Taylor Blackgrove is the daughter of Angela Kluesner and the late Keith Kluesner of Dubois. A 2024 graduate of Northeast Dubois High School, Taylor attends Purdue University majoring in Animal Science. She plans a career in Pet Nutrition or as a Veterinarian. Taylor is sponsored by Triumph Energy.

Brooke Buening is the daughter of David and Stacy Buening and Stephanie Buening of Huntingburg. Brooke is a 2025 graduate of Southridge High School. She plans to attend Vincennes University and study Conservation Law, hoping to become a Conservation Officer. Brooke is sponsored by Flip and Twist Gymnastics.

Lexi Fuhrman is the daughter of Byron and Amanda Fuhrman of Dubois. Lexi is a 2025 graduate of Northeast Dubois High School. Her plans are to attend Vincennes University and study Agribusiness and Agronomy. Lexi is planning to be a self-employed farmer. Her sponsors are Fuhrman Bros. LLC and Seitzies Bar and Grill.

Laurian Gayso is the daughter of Chad and Kristin Gayso of Jasper. Laurian will be a senior at Jasper High School this fall. Her career path is to be a dog groomer. Laurian is sponsored by IGA.
Teen Miss Contestants

Jazmin Dubon is the daughter of Santos and Milagro Serrano of Huntingburg. She will be a sophomore at Southridge High School this fall. Jazmin plans to attend Indiana University to become an Ultrasound Technician. Her parents sponsor her.

Alexis Eckert is the daughter of Bryan and Krystal Eckert of Huntingburg. She will be a junior at Southridge High School this fall. Alexis plans to attend USI, studying to become a Dental Hygienist. Eckert’s Tech Supply sponsors her.

Ashlyn Pund is the daughter of Nick and Jennifer Pund of Huntingburg. Ashlyn will be a junior at Forest Park High School in the fall. Her sponsors are Durcholz Excavating and her family.

Kinley Schnell is the daughter of Lee and Danielle Schnell of Celestine. She will be a sophomore at Northeast Dubois High School this fall. Kinley’s future plans are to attend USI or Murray State to become an Ultrasound Technician. She is sponsored by the Dubois County Wranglers.

Ava Verkamp is the daughter of Kevin and Heather Verkamp of St. Anthony. She will be a senior at Forest Park High School in the fall. After graduation, Ava plans to attend Vincennes University to study Agribusiness and Animal Husbandry. Her sponsors are Verkamp Construction, Circle M Turkey Ranch, and Mere Reflection
