2014 voter information

Absentee voting in person began on Tuesday, October 7, 2014, on the third floor of the Dubois County Courthouse for the November 4 General Election.  Hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 12:00–4:00 p.m. The absentee voting office is closed between 11 a.m. and noon for lunch.

Absentee voting in person at the Courthouse will continue each business day and ends on Monday, November 3, at noon.

Voters may also vote absentee in person on Saturday, October 25th and Saturday, November 1st, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. in the Courthouse on the third floor.

For added convenience to voters, satellite absentee voting will be available at the Huntingburg Event Center and The Ferdinand Community Center. Hours of absentee voting will be Wednesday October 29 thru Friday October 31 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 1, at both locations from 8:00 a.m. to noon.

Voters are reminded that photo identification will be required to vote a regular absentee ballot in person in the Absentee Voter Office or a satellite location.

Voters who wish to vote absentee by mail or by travel board must request an application for an absentee ballot from the clerk’s office at 812-481-7035.
