2012 Herbstfest Queen Contestants

Joyce, 18, is sponsored by B&B Extermination. She is the daughter of Kristy Lawrence and Tom Lawrence. She is planning to attend Indiana State University to major in Special Needs Education.

Kaylyn, 16, is the daughter of Lisa Long and Andy Long. She is planning to attend college and either become an Ultrasound Tech or a Radiology Tech.

Morgan, 17, is sponsored by Flip & Twist Gymnastics. She is the daughter of Brad and Janna Peter. She is planning on attending college and studying Criminal Justice.

Rhea, 17, is sponsored by Dubois Distributors. She is the daughter of Randy and Lisa Fuhrman. She is planning on attending Indiana University South Bend to obtain a Doctorate in Psychology.

Mary, 17, is the daughter of Sherry Silver and Doug Silvers. She is planning on attending Indiana State University and become a Kindergarten Teacher.

Stephanie, 21, is sponsored by her parents. She is the daughter of Terry and Pamela Underhill. She is currently enrolled at the University of Evansville. After graduating from the University of Evansville, she plans to attend Medical School.

Heather, 17, is sponsored by Disinger Krueger Jewelers of Huntingburg. She is the daughter of Sara and Darin Deel. She is planning on attending college and becoming a Neonatal Nurse.

Haley, 16, is sponsored by Langebrake Farms. She is the daughter of Randy and Lynette Langebrake. She is planning on attending college to study Physical Therapy.

Heather, 18, is sponsored by her parents. She is the daughter of Terry and Pamela Underhill. She is planning to attend college to double major in Mathematics and Elementary/Secondary Education.

Joanna, 16, is the daughter Shannon Hildebranski and Dave Hildebranski. She plans to attend University of Indianapolis to study Special Education then go work as a teacher at the School of Deaf and Blind in Indianapolis.

Riley, 16, is sponsored by Huntingburg Machine Works. She is the daughter of Mark Gasser and Toni Gilkey. She is planning on attending college to major in Accounting with hopes to one day work for the family business.

Shannon Phillips, 17, is sponsored by Chase Studio. She is the daughter of Robert Phillips. She is planning on attending Indiana University and major in Communications.
The 2012 Herbstfest Queen Pageant, sponsored by Freedom Bank, will be held on Sunday, September 23rd at 5:00 p.m. in the auditorium at Southridge High School. The pageant is open to any single young lady between 16-21 years of age residing in the Southwest Dubois County School Corporation or having graduated from Southridge High School and is currently enrolled at a college or university.
The winner of the 2012 Herbstfest Pageant will reign over the Herbstfest activities and will receive a crown and sash as well as other prizes from local retail merchants. In addition to these prizes the winner will also receive a $500 scholarship from the Herbstfest Committee.
