17 county roads still blocked by high water
Wednesday morning, the Dubois County Highway Department reported that 17 county roads remain closed due to high water levels
In District 1, Madison Township continues to see the heaviest impacts with twelve closures. CR 150 North remains closed in two separate locations — west of CR 750 West and between 500 West and 600 West — along with CR 875 West south of CR 150 North and CR 50 North west of CR 750 West, all tied to Little Flat Creek. CR 800 West now has two closures, south of CR 50 North and north of CR 300 South, the latter due to the Patoka River. CR 650 West south of 100 South, Division Road east of CR 600 West, Stewart Road off of Division Road, CR 620 West south of CR 50 North, CR 150 South west of Old Huntingburg Road, and Ell Creek Road north of CR 400 South all remain closed due to the Patoka River. Kellerville Road and CR 225 South in Bainbridge Township have reopened since the previous report.

District 2 is down to one closure. CR 190 North in Bainbridge Township north of Meridian Road remains closed due to the Patoka River. Marion Township’s CR 300 North has reopened since the previous report.

In District 3, four roads remain closed. Old Huntingburg Road in Bainbridge Township north of CR 400 South remains affected by the Patoka River. CR 400 South continues to have two separate closures — west of Ell Creek Road due to Ell Creek and east of US 231 due to Hunley Creek — and CR 130 West north of CR 400 South remains closed due to Hunley Creek. Old Road 64 and 1st Street in Huntingburg have both reopened since the previous report.
District 3

- Patoka Twp — CR 400 South, West of Ell Creek Road (Ell Creek)
- Patoka Twp — CR 400 South, East of US 231 (Hunley Creek)

Motorists are advised to avoid flooded roads and never attempt to drive through standing water. Road conditions are being monitored and closures will be updated as water levels change.
