14 county roads still impacted by flooding

On Wednesday, the Dubois County Highway Department reported that 14 county roads remain closed due to rising water levels on the Patoka River, the White River, and several creeks, as well as in low-lying areas.

In District 1, Madison Township continues to see the heaviest impacts, with closures on CR 875 West, CR 50 North, CR 800 West, Division Road, Stewart Road, CR 620 West, CR 150 South, and Ell Creek Road — several of which run adjacent to the Patoka River and Little Flat Creek. Boone Township has four roads affected, with Portersville Bridge Road blocked north of the bridge in Daviess County due to the White River, Portersville Road West closed east of CR 500 West due to Rizzley Creek, CR 700 North closed east of Portersville Road, and CR 600 North closed west of 200 West — both due to Mill Creek.
