12 Dubois County roads remain flooded
Thursday afternoon, the Dubois County Highway Department reported that 12 county roads remain closed from recent flooding — down from 17 reported Wednesday.
In District 1, Madison Township continues to account for the bulk of closures with eleven roads still affected. CR 150 North between 500 West and 600 West, CR 875 West south of CR 150 North, CR 50 North west of CR 750 West, and CR 800 West south of CR 50 North all remain closed due to Little Flat Creek. CR 150 North west of CR 750 West has reopened since the last report. CR 800 West north of CR 300 South, CR 650 West south of 100 South, Division Road east of CR 600 West, Stewart Road off of Division Road, CR 620 West south of CR 50 North, CR 150 South west of Old Huntingburg Road, and Ell Creek Road north of CR 400 South all remain closed due to the Patoka River.

- Madison Twp — Ell Creek Road, North of CR 400 South (Patoka River)
District 2 has fully cleared, with CR 190 North in Bainbridge Township having reopened since the last report.
In District 3, two roads remain closed. Old Huntingburg Road in Bainbridge Township north of CR 400 South remains affected by the Patoka River, and CR 400 South in Patoka Township west of Ell Creek Road remains closed due to Ell Creek. CR 400 South east of US 231 and CR 130 West have both reopened since the previous report.

Motorists are advised to avoid flooded roads and never attempt to drive through standing water. Road conditions are being monitored and closures will be updated as water levels change.
