Over 100 marijuana plants seized in Winslow

Winslow — Pike County deputies seized 133 live marijuana plants from a Winslow residence early Friday morning.

Deputies acted on a search warrant for the residence located at 280 East County Road 375 South, Winslow and found the plants growing in a trailer at that address. Deputies also located numerous items of paraphernalia.

When officers executed the search warrant, Schuyler Hume, 28, of the above address, Roger Hume, 60, of 311 E. 475 South, Winslow, and Kayla S. Kell, 25, of 123 Dale Street, Oakland City,  were in the trailer. The Humes were charged with cultivating and dealing marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance. Kell was charged with visiting a common nuisance.

All three were booked into the Pike County Security Center; Kell has a $3,500 bond while bond has not been set for the Humes.
